Candidate Experience Coordinators partner closely with internal Talent acquisition partners through the full-cycle recruiting process across business areas. Coordinators drive the hiring process forward and own the candidate management process. Individuals in this role have opportunities to build relationships with stakeholders within Backcountry's business and work on projects within the People team. The ideal candidate has a positive can do attitude and has a passion for connecting people. Above all, we are looking for someone who is as equally passionate about the outdoors as we are.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain interview and hiring records in ATS including scheduling all candidate interviews onsite or remote
- Communicate effectively with Hiring Managers
- Devise and implement improved recruiting strategies
- Build a robust and consistent talent pool to find qualified candidates, both active and passive
- Adhere to personal data privacy regulations
- Must be able to work onsite in Park City
- Prepare progress reports on a weekly and monthly basis for the business
- Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
- Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
- Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
- Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
- Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
- Attend job fairs and careers events
- Update and maintain onboarding tasks for new hires in ATS
- Help manage monthly executive speaker series
- Keep track of candidate HW assignments
- Schedule or conduct new employee orientations
- Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications
- Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports
- Manage all inquiries related to ATS troubleshooting
- Develop relationship with ATS program manager
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Proven work experience as a Recruiting coordinator or recruiter
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
- Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
- Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
- Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
- Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
- BS degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field a plus
