Senior Associate, Diversity Campus Recruiter

As part of Capital One's D&I Campus Recruiting team, you will be on a team specifically focused on driving our recruiting and sourcing pipelines for our diversity and early engagement initiatives. Campus Recruiting is a highly strategic and high-volume pipeline for Capital One that is continuing to grow.

As a member of this fast-paced, high-performing team, you will work to attract high-caliber diverse college students across the country to participate in early college career programs. They should be comfortable testing and learning different approaches to reach diverse candidates.

The ideal candidate for the position will be responsible for facilitating and driving early experiences with superior customer service skills, a high level of professionalism and willingness to handle all planning of the programming. These may include:

  • Source and drive new and creative pipelines of Diverse candidates for Capital One - create personalized candidate engagement plans and generate excitement in new populations for career paths at the company
  • Track high-volume candidate data in real-time with precision
  • Build relationships with candidates at a high-volume, understand their interest and passion and direct them to the right role or opportunity
  • Serve as a key contact for candidates throughout the sourcing, interview and offer stages.
  • Attend and support National Partnership events; follow up and process relevant candidates
  • Support management of relevant departmental data systems, including candidate tracking database, budget tracking, decision-making tools and ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Maintain relationships with Team to align on streamlined communication plans, share out track-specific updates, and share best practices across teams

  • Responding to a range of queries from associates and other Campus Recruiting team members
  • Manage internal and external relationships to support the development and scaling of programs
  • Utilize virtual tools to deliver exceptional candidate experience in the virtual environment and work with onsite venue and vendors when in person
  • Work some evenings and weekends and travel up to 25% of the time
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects


Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years in Campus Recruiting
  • At least 2 years of experience in campus recruiting at Minority Serving Institutions (i.e. Historically Black Colleges & Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions, or Women's Institutions)


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
